Q: What are the requirements to become a traveler?

A: PNI staffs the best healthcare facilities with the best healthcare professionals. So our screening process is careful and comprehensive. To join our team, you must have at least 1 year of experience in your specialty area, a valid nursing license, a valid CPR card, and a physician's statement of health. You also must complete an interview at the PNI office and demonstrate competency in your specialty area by passing a written test.

A: PNI pays up to $300.00 for transportation to and from your assignment.

A: Yes. Nurses who make their own housing arrangements receive a housing allowance, regardless of where they choose to stay.

Q: Can I bring pets and family on my assignment?

A: Being a PNI nurse means fostering life balance. So we encourage you to bring your family with you on your assignments. Pets are allowed, as well - unless prohibited by housing restrictions. Please contact PNI for more details.

A: A typical travel assignment is 13 weeks; however, assignments of other lengths can also be arranged. Assignments may also be extended or renewed.
